With version 1.1 we have released the final version of the UCS Dashboard Apps.
The UCS Dashboard allows administrators to quickly and easily read the state of the domain and individual servers on different dashboards.
After the beta release in the summer and lots of feedback, we have now released the final version of the UCS Dashboard Apps (Dashboard, Database and Client). Changes primarily concern a more robust installation / de-installation and better configuration of the application. In addition, emphasis has been placed on ease of expandability, to be able, e.g., to integrate non-UCS systems.
Feedback, especially on other metrics about the server or domain status, is, of course, always welcome.
The changes at a glance:
UCS Dashboard
- The UCS Dashboard Database (Prometheus) server is now configurable (Dashboard and Dashboard Database can thus run on different systems).
- You can now integrate your own Grafana® configuration.
- Grafana® has been updated to version 5.3.4.
UCS Dashboard Database
- An error during the uninstallation has been fixed (cron-job will be removed now).
- You can now integrate your own configuration for Prometheus targets (clients).
- Errors in the data collection script have been fixed.
- Prometheus has been updated to version 2.4.3.
UCS Dashboard Client
- Errors in the data collection script have been fixed.
