New Pricing Model: Subscription for UCS

Due to the progress in our technical basis in general and because of the usage habits of our customers, we have revised the pricing model for Univention Enterprise subscriptions. It takes effect on December 1, 2022, for all new customers.
Our Univention Corporate Server (UCS) subscription model has been streamlined and simplified. At the same time, the basis has become more flexible. In the past, pricing was mainly based on the number of servers. In the new pricing model, the dependency has been significantly reduced in favor of a model that is based on the number of users.

The new Subscription Model

The new subscription model of Univention Corporate Server (UCS) depends on the number of users as well as the required level of support. Standard packages range from 25 to 200 users. In addition, individual packages are available depending on the size of the environment.

For customers requesting extended services we offer individual packages. They can include extended service hours, individual support, and a possible support extension for UCS versions with expired maintenance. Please contact our sales department for individual offers.

What are the Terms and Conditions for existing Customers?

Existing subscription contracts can be converted to the new pricing model. Our sales team is happy to help you. Alternatively, you can continue the current contract on the basis of the old pricing model (billing according to the number of servers and users). If you choose to continue your subscription based on the old pricing model, please note that prices for the UCS Base Subscription, UCS Standard Subscription, UCS Premium Subscription, and UCS Domain Services will be increased according to our General Terms and Conditions, at least 4 % to a maximum of 4.9 %, depending on individual deliveries. Increased prices will be charged with the next subsequent invoice for contracts starting February, 2, 2023.
