Have you got any questions concerning applying to Univention? From the maximum permissible file size to the interview itself: we’ve compiled some of the most frequently asked questions (and the corresponding answers) for you here.

Your résumé and evidence of your qualifications (certificates and professional references) are most important to us. A cover letter is very welcome, but not compulsory.

Your application should be max. 10 MB.

Ideally, you should upload your application as a PDF.

Of course, you may also send a spontaneous application. To do so, simply send your CV to jobs@univention.de and we will answer you as soon as possible.

By sending us your application, you consent to our electronic storage and processing of your documents.
Your data will only be used for the purposes of the application process. It goes without saying that we comply with all the relevant provisions of the German Federal Data Protection Act and treat your information confidentially. In addition, we store your documents as required for compliance with stipulated periods and legal requirements and may make copies of your documents. The data are not made available to external entities or organizations and are not used for advertising purposes. More detailed information can be found in our Privacy Statement.

After you have applied to us, you will receive a confirmation of receipt. We start screening immediately and coordinate with the department so that you usually receive feedback from us after a week.

In the first step we check if your application is complete. If we have any questions in advance, a member of the HR team will contact you by e-mail.
If your qualifications match the requirements for the position, we will first invite you for a telephone interview. Further steps of the application process, such as a personal interview, are then carried out digitally. In exceptional cases, there may be deviations, but we will discuss these with you directly in advance.

Our website provides a wealth of information about our products and customers, and you are welcome to peruse this and inform yourself in advance.
In addition, we also want to get to know you as a person – so just be yourself! After all, we value openness, transparency, and authenticity.

Openness is one of the core values of our company, so we naturally accept applications from people with other professional backgrounds and check them individually with regard to the requisite skill set and specialist knowledge.

Generally speaking, we never rule anything out, but we need to check the options on a case-by-case basis. A number of factors such as HR planning, the sphere of duties, flexibility, etc., all play a decisive role in this respect.

You are very welcome to apply for an internship in our company in 2021. Please inform us of the field and period in which you would like to complete the internship. We will then determine whether and to what extent this would be possible.

We are always on the lookout for students looking to support us and gain practical experience. It is particularly advantageous if you can occupy a role for a number of months. Yes, we have a wide range of options for launching your career with us as a recent graduate. We are almost always on the lookout for new colleagues for our Sales, IT Development, and IT Consulting departments.

You can write your Bachelor or Master thesis here. Simply send us an application specifying among other things your research interests and the period in which when you would like to write your thesis. We will then check the options and get back to you.
