The antivirus and proxy server solutions AV Mail and AV Proxy of our Saarbrücken-based partner IKU are available as ready to use virtual images for VMware, VMware ESX, KVM and VirtualBox from now on.

In our App Center the new TecArt app, the first application based on the state-of-the-art “Docker” container technology for operation in UCS is now available. The app is stored in an isolated container, making it possible to run different software applications in the same server environment without conflicts.
I am glad, that TecArt is the first developer using our new Docker integration in the App Center. 
The encapsulation via Docker allows TecArt to satisfy the specific requirements on essential software libraries and their versions via the App Center without any complex maneuvers or additional efforts.
The Univention App Center now provides the update privacyIDEA 2.9-1 for UCS 4.1 and 4.0. This update includes the add-ons PAM und SAML.

In the IKU AV Mail and AV Proxy solutions there are now two new Univention apps for mail and proxy servers available from our partner in Saarbrücken, IKU. The apps are based on the multi-award-winning scan engine from Avira and can be integrated in existing UCS environments via the App Center.
