The AD Takeover wizard allows you to migrate entire Microsoft Active Directory domains to Univention Corporate Server with ease. The wizard can be installed from the Univention App Center with just a few clicks and is then available in the Univention Management Console as a stand-alone application.
When the address of the existing Active Directory domain controller is entered, the wizard detects all the users, computers and groups in the domain. They are then automatically copied into the new domain together with all the corresponding policies. No further changes need to be made on the clients themselves and the users do not notice the changeover at all.
