Our latest user report describes how the “Diakonie Eine Welt”, a social and welfare organization, successfully joined isolated systems with UCS, integrated a Windows domain and implemented a central management for its 600 employees.

Before the decision for the right solution was made, the deaconry with its 30 distributed locations determined what it wanted: A Windows domain, a central identity management and a simplified administration of all devices. Microsoft Active Directory was first choice but eventually rejected. They preferred to have an Open Source solution with a German-speaking community behind it and an Austrian service partner. The new IT infrastructure and management system was supposed to allow a Windows domain, central user management for all services, easy maintenance and provision of regular updates.

The user report “Diakonie Eine Welt” shows you how our partner Siedl Networks implemented this new IT infrastructure system with UCS.
