From now on, the Univention App Center offers an app, which strongly increases the security for UCS-managed IT infrastructures by controlling the access to the company’s WLAN for all users, groups and end devices via the RADIUS protocol.
Through the creation of white and black lists and the configuration of the user, group and end devices directly in the UCS management system, no user can access the WLAN unauthorized. Each access will always first be controlled and authorized via the RADIUS protocol.
Authorized users can log on easily with their usual domain credentials. Thus, also “Bring your own device” concepts are supported because the security for the access via different end devices such as smartphones and tablets is always guaranteed.
The RADIUS app can easily be downloaded and installed via the Univention App Center. Further information can be found in the Univention app catalogue.
