Brainyoo is a didactic tool consisting of a web version and apps for iOS and Android that supports teachers and education leaders in introducing tablets and smartphones in the class room.

The digital flashcard

The system is based on the simple but extremely efficient flashcard system according to Sebastian Leitner. Here, a digital flashcard consisting of questions and answers, cloze texts or multiple-choice tasks can be created very easily by teachers and students and supplemented with videos and audios. Learning content can then be easily shared with each other via learning groups.

Individual performance feedback

Teachers and training managers particularly appreciate the possibility of individual performance feedback, which they receive directly via the learning groups. Brainyoo offers you not only a connector but a direct integration of the software and database at the push of a button on your UCS system in your data center. This ensures that no personal data, such as individual learning statistics, is transmitted to Brainyoo. Only for support purposes Brainyoo requires a contract for order processing.

NOTICE OF USE

An outgoing Internet connection is imperative for the operation of Brainyoo!

Furthermore, currently only a single Brainyoo instance can be installed in a UCS environment. Multiple installations will only be implemented in future releases.

In order to be able to reach your Brainyoo instance via the mobile apps, the system must also be inbound via the Internet. Additionally, you need to equip the OpenID Connect interface as well as the Apache web server in UCS with a globally valid SSL certificate (e.g. from Let's Encrypt).
