This app provides a web proxy server and web cache to increase the performance and control the data traffic. Response times for regular requests of the same websites are reduced. Furthermore, The data transfer volume over the internet access can be reduced. In addition, control and administration for the access on internet content is possible. For example, it can be specified which users or user groups can access which websites. The app uses the well established proxy server application Squid and supports the protocols HTTP, HTTPS and FTP. Internet content is filtered via the software DansGuardian.
