The Prometheus Alertmanager app provides the notification capability for the UCS Dashboard app.
The Alertmanager takes care of alerts sent by the Prometheus database component. Administrators can define alerts in Prometheus. Alerts consist of conditions on metrics from the Prometheus database provided by the UCS Dashboard Database app. Once a condition occurs, Prometheus creates an alert and sends it to the Alertmanager. The Alertmanager takes care of the notification through email.
Prometheus Alertmanager offers a web interface. The intregrates with the UCS identity management, so that domain administrators can sign in to the Alertmanager with their domain credentials.
