The Admin Diary is intended for administrators who want to quickly gain an overview of administrative changes in their UCS domain. Different UCS domain-specific actions are logged, e.g.:
- Creating and modifying objects in the Nubus directory service (e.g. users)
- Installing/updating apps
- The domain join and updates of UCS systems
This App installs the Admin Diary Backend App, which provides the data storage for the Admin Diary based on a SQL Database. UCS instances send information about events to this backend. The separate Admin Diary Frontend App, which can be installed after the Backend App, evaluates this information and displays it graphically.
If the Backend App and Frontend App are not installed on the same system, the steps in this SDB article must be followed.
