This app extends UCS with Active Directory functionality as it is delivered by the software Samba. It allows to operate an Active Directory compatible domain controller with Nubus on UCS and therefore provides a login service for Windows systems that are part of the domain. Users and group memberships are maintained centrally in the Nubus Identity Management system. The App can be installed on several UCS instances, In that case, replication mechanisms synchronize the data to other domain controllers.
