AV Mail

AV Mail is a reliable virus scanner for Linux mail servers developed by IKU Systems & Services. AV Mail is integrated into existing mail environments, directly via SMTP. This ensures that malware doesn't even reach the internal network in the first place. Depending on the configuration, infected emails will be deleted or moved into quarantine. Furthermore it's adjustable how one will be notified upon detection of a virus.

Based on the Univention Corporate Server (UCS) operating system, the IKU AV products - AV Mail and AV Proxy - can be deployed not only in a UCS infrastructure but also as a stand alone system in other (e.g. Windows-) environments.

The IKU AV products rely on the award-winning Avira antivirus scan engine. The products are low maintenance, quick and easy to install and work 'out-of-the-box'.

Once installed the product can be evaluated - with all of it's features - for 31 days. After that it's possible to retain the configuration and re-activate the software by acquiring a valid license key.
