Bremen, May 27, 2026 – Univention GmbH, a leading provider of open source solutions for the efficient management of digital identities and the integration of applications, is pleased to announce an expansion of its leadership team.
Effective May 2026, Lars Richter will be responsible for the continued development of Univention’s products as VP Software Engineering, further strengthening the company’s strategic focus on business growth and customer value. In his new role, he joins the leadership team alongside Peter H. Ganten (CEO), Stefan Gomann (COO), and Roberto Blickhan (VP Sales & Marketing).

In his previous role as VP Engineering, Lars Richter led a team of more than 100 employees, and brings over 20 years of experience in software development. At Univention, he will focus on building and further developing a scalable engineering organization, helping to accelerate development processes and align the products even more closely with users’ needs.
