3rd Party App Chart for February 2018

It’s time for a new edition of our 3rd Party App Charts. Compared to the last ranking in December the following changes occurred:

Since the last charts, there has been less movement in the top 10. The top trio consisting of ownCloud, Kopano and Nextcloud have consolidated their positions. Let’s Encrypt for the installation of secure certificates has climbed further up and pushed the groupware OX App Suite one place down. The lower midfield and 10th place have also remained stable. Here the backup server solution Bareos, the groupware Horde, the VPN solution OpenVPN4UCS and the office suite ONLYOFFICE have held their positions.

Newcomer in the top 10 is the CRM solution SuiteCRM, the open source version of SugarCRM. The rise is mainly driven by the virtual appliance for SuiteCRM, which can be downloaded directly from the business solution’s website since the beginning of December. An Appliance is a pre-installed virtual machine that pre-installs UCS and the App. It bundles the commissioning of UCS and an App.

The client management solution opsi is no longer among the top 10.
