Trainee as IT Specialist – Application Development (m/f/x)

Your tasks

In your 3-year apprenticeship, you will obtain knowledge and skills in the areas of Python, JavaScript, shell scripting on Linux, container isolation, virtualization, Linux system and web services, and many other modern Open Source technologies.
You can/will use and extend these skills directly in ongoing customer projects.
From the very beginning, you will be part of our development team and work on the same level as your co-workers.
During your apprenticeship, your trainer will support you in your professional development. Your team will also support you in any way they can.
Regular trainee and one-on-one meetings with your trainer complete your training at Univention.

What we expect

A-levels (Abitur) or comparable qualification (Fachabitur) with good grades.
You think programming is great fun.
You’re enthusiastic about tasks in which you can demonstrate your strong logical-analytical thinking.
You have very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English.
You’re eager to learn.
You enjoy working in a team.

80 employees are working from home or in our offices in Leipzig, Berlin, and Bremen.
Our company is composed of different teams. 15 employees work in software development. In addition, that team is also supported by external software developers.
