Your Tasks

  • As a technical Linux expert, you will support our IT consultants and project managers in the introduction and development of our Linux-based products (UCS and UCS@school).
  • You will support our customers in the operation and further development of their IT infrastructure.
  • During the planning phase, you will discuss with customers how UCS or UCS@school can best be installed and configured, and the requirements necessary to do so.
  • This also means that you make customer adjustments if necessary. Planning, development and testing are all your responsibilities.
  • In your tasks, you will be in touch with technologies such as Samba, Postfix, Ansible, and Docker. Depending on the project, you may be required to write short Python scripts.
  • Your tasks also include regularly updating your team members and customers on the project’s progress. The communication will be documented in a project management tool.

  • You communicate reliably and at eye level with your customers.
  • You work carefully and in a organized manner and value good documentation.
  • You have profound experience in the implementation of Linux-based projects.
  • Ideally, you have experience with project management tools.
  • You are fluent in German and English.
  • You have completed an apprenticeship or a degree in computer science or have acquired the relevant knowledge elsewhere.
