Your main duties as an Open Source Consultant will include:

  • You take on the technical consultation of our clients and together you plan and develop the effective and successful use of our solutions.
  • In workshops you identifly together with the clients their needs, you suggest adequate solutions and accompany them during the implementation.
  • You support our Key Accounts in the successful deployment of UCS and UCS@school: starting from the installation and project-specific adaptations to the successful operation (remote or on-premises).
  • You take full responsibility for the projects you manage: starting from the technical realization and the involvement of team colleagues to the observance of the agreed budget.

Your ideal qualifications:

  • You have experience in the setup and administration of Linux-based IT infrastructures.
  • You have knowledge in the administration of Windows and/or Mac OS X desktop systems.
  • You like to deepen your understanding of complex, technical questions and develop appropriate, intelligent solutions.
  • You communicate actively and openly and thus advance projects with all participants – within your team as well as with your clients.
  • You are well-organized and have a result-oriented approach.
  • You communicate fluently in German and English.
